Education Priorities Expert Panel

On the International Day of Education, LDID hosted an education priorities expert panel in partnership with Crown Agents, sponsored by the Coalition for Global Prosperity (CGP).

Chaired by Ryan Baldry, senior communications manager at CGP, the expert panel featured Girish Menon (STiR Education), Kate Adams (Global Partnership for Education) and Joseph Nhan-O’Reilly (IPNED).

The experts deliberated issues around the current challenges, global progress towards meeting SDG 4, access for girls and what pushes them out of class, as well as the compounding effect of climate change on education.

The panel reflected on critical concerns from Youth Ambassadors, as well as took questions from the audience of Parliamentarians and NGOs.
